Get involved
Share your knowledge. Share your skills. Help children grow.
Keti has grown through the commitment of educators, families, staff, friends, volunteers and partners who believe that quality education can create lasting opportunities. We welcome individuals, families, organizations, educational institutions, churches, professional groups and other partners, from Ethiopia and around the world, who would like to contribute knowledge, skills, experience or resources.
Work together. Share knowledge. Build capacity. Create something that lasts.

Working with us, not simply for us
Keti values volunteer relationships built on mutual respect, collaboration and knowledge-sharing. Volunteers should strengthen, not replace, the work of Keti teachers and staff. Whenever possible, involvement should leave behind something sustainable: new skills, stronger programs, useful resources, improved systems or continuing relationships.
Who can volunteer?
Teachers and retired teachers, university faculty and students, scientists and engineers, technology professionals, librarians, artists, coaches, education specialists, skilled professionals and Ethiopian diaspora professionals.
Depending on the activity, opportunities may range from a single workshop to several days, several weeks, a school-term placement or remote professional support.

Keti Community Library
Partnerships with Newway Global, North Hills Church and Pointe Church, together with friends and volunteers in the United States, have contributed significantly to the development of the Keti Community Library.
A container carrying nearly 25,000 donated books from friends in Greenville, South Carolina helped establish a substantial library collection. Volunteers also worked alongside Keti staff in setting up the Library and providing training.

Give books or equipment
The right resource at the right time. Before sending books, computers, laboratory equipment or other materials, please contact Keti to confirm current need, suitability, quantity, condition and transportation arrangements.
Ask about current needsFinancial contributions
Keti does not currently operate a general online donation facility. We invite discussion around specific educational projects and current priorities. If Keti later establishes a formal international fundraising mechanism or charitable partner, online giving will be added with appropriate accountability.
Partner from anywhere
Some contributions can happen remotely through teacher mentoring, curriculum and resource development, technology advice, library development, professional workshops, project planning and educational exchanges.

Genuine feedback from volunteers, Keti staff, practical-learning students and Community Library users. Paired perspectives, a visitor and a Keti staff member, are especially valuable.
