Keti Academy is an independent school in Assela committed to high-quality, student-centred education in a caring, safe and stimulating environment.
Our story
From 42 students to a growing learning community
Founded in 2021 with 42 students, Keti has grown to more than 850 students across three campuses from Nursery through Grade 8. This growth reflects the confidence of families in our school. It also brings responsibility: growth must never come at the expense of educational quality.
Keti Academy opened with a conviction that children deserve excellent education in an environment where they are known, encouraged and challenged. The school grew in response to strong family demand. Today Keti operates three campuses and provides a learning continuum from Nursery through Grade 8.
Growth has brought new classrooms, early-childhood environments, library resources, ICT and STEM development, outdoor learning and Junior High expansion. Our success, however, is measured not simply by buildings or enrollment, but by the quality of learning, the character of our students, the growth of our staff and the confidence of families.
We seek to develop the whole child: academic ability together with character, creativity, confidence, responsibility and respect.

A message from the founder
"Where a child is born should not determine the quality of education available to that child."
Keti Academy began with that simple belief. Education should help children discover who they are, develop what they are capable of becoming and prepare them to contribute positively to their communities.
The trust families place in Keti brings responsibility. We must continue improving teaching, investing in our staff, strengthening our learning environments and treating every child with dignity and care.
I strongly believe in staff development and well-being. Excellent education requires excellent people. Keti should be a place where teachers and staff are supported, mentored, challenged and given opportunities to grow.
Our vision is not simply to become a larger school. It is to become an excellent learning community. We welcome families, educators, volunteers and partners who share that commitment.
